Beautiful Beginnings
1979 - 1992
Rodolph Owner and Founder Cynthia Nugent first fell in love with textiles while living in
South East Asia. Discovering Jim Thompson's Thai Silks, Cynthia developed a means of
distribution in the United States for their decorative accessories and couture fabrics.
She went on to facilitate the development of their home furnishing collection, introducing
it to the design community in 1982.
Transition, Change, Movement
1990
Expanding to include high-end European and American textile mills, Rodolph's first exclusive
collection, Metamorphosis, was a line of contemporary fabrics designed to
debut in the hospitality and contract markets.
